Gestalt Therapy

Gestalt is a therapeutic approach that is experiential, which means I’ll be inviting you to practice new ways of relating to yourself and others in real-time in the session. So much of the time we are engaging in what the founders of Gestalt called “aboutism,” talking about the past or future while avoiding changing now; Gestalt is all about creating change here in the present moment. Gestalt therapy is a relational, holistic and person-centered form of psychotherapy. It is a body centered, non-pathologizing, and a deeply compassionate philosophy. Gestalt therapy focuses on contact, relationship, awareness, personal responsibility, and unfinished business. Together we’ll engage our creativity and have fun in the process!
