EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based trauma resolution therapy. EMDR therapy operates on the philosophy that current symptoms (e.g. negative thoughts, painful emotions and sensations, dissociation, self-destructive behaviors, etc.) are the result of unprocessed memories that have not been stored properly in our memory system in the brain. EMDR therapy can be helpful with trauma, anxiety, depression, panic, and more. Click here to learn more.

S.A.F.E. (somatic and attachment focused EMDR) EMDR therapy was developed by Deborah Kennard as a way to integrate the body-centered psychotherapy philosophies and practices she learned as a Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist. With this additional training, the desensitization and reprocessing from EMDR occurs faster, safer, and more completely.
